Illicit Relations by Lucy Felthouse

Illicit Relations by Lucy Felthouse

Terry’s had a crush on his second cousin Justin for what seems like forever. He’s hidden it as well as possible, knowing that the other man is out of bounds, forbidden fruit. Second cousins getting together isn’t actually illegal, but for Justin the relationship is too close—he just can’t contemplate them being together.

But when some new information comes to light about Terry’s birth and his place in the family, the whole game changes. Suddenly the relationship isn’t so impossible, and things soon begin to get hot and heavy.

Excerpt:

Terry deliberately averted his gaze as Justin tugged off his T-shirt and dove into the pool. The last thing he needed was to see him topless. His libido was already in overdrive and he was having trouble not jumping Justin’s bones. In fact, the only thing that held him back was the fact that Justin was his second cousin. They hadn’t been brought up particularly closely, so it wasn’t as if he were lusting after someone he considered to be a brother, but still. They were related and it was weird. Or it would be weird if anything happened between them, which it wouldn’t, of course. It would be wrong and they both knew it.

Terry assumed that was the reason Justin was avoiding him, anyway. They got on well and there was an obvious spark between them, but nothing inappropriate had ever taken place. For the most part, they acted as cousins should. Every now and again, though, he’d catch Justin looking at him. Equally, Terry would drink his fill of his cousin when no one else was looking. Apparently it was getting increasingly difficult for Justin, too.

Right now, at the annual summer get together at Terry’s grandparents’ massive house in rural Warwickshire, the tension between them had never been higher.

What made the whole thing ten times worse was that neither of them had come out. So ending up together would be a double whammy for their families. He could see it now. Hey, everyone! I’m gay—and so is he. We’re together. Now as you were.

He didn’t know whether the reaction would be favorable or not.

He also knew that part of his frustration about the situation was because he hadn’t yet seen any point in coming out. His feelings for Justin ran deeper than he cared to admit, and for that reason he hadn’t been in a relationship with anyone—ever. Not a homosexual relationship, anyway. He’d had girlfriends back in the days when he hadn’t realized what his urges meant, but since then he’d been by himself and remained a virgin. He was surprised, actually, that no one in his family had asked whether he was gay. He could only assume that because he was so private generally, they thought he would only introduce them to someone when he felt it was absolutely right. That was his plan, in fact. To come out and introduce his partner at the same time. But until he got over this damn infatuation with Justin, he was never going to be any farther forward.

His thoughts ran on for several minutes until he was interrupted—and startled—by droplets of cold water falling onto his bare shoulder. He turned. Justin stood there, shaking his blond head and sending the droplets flying around. Apparently he wasn’t avoiding Terry anymore.

It was hot and he was wearing casual clothes, so Terry wasn’t bothered about getting wet, but for some reason, he snapped at Justin. “For fuck’s sake, do you have to do that here?”

Immediately Justin stopped and stared at him. They’d never had a cross word between them, not even when they were children. “Sorry, mate. I was just messing around. I didn’t think it would piss you off.”

His blue eyes were wide and Terry felt his irritation dissipating rapidly. He continued to rake his gaze down Justin’s half-naked form. His broad shoulders and wide chest, which was sprinkled with a handful of pale hairs. His toned stomach, the six-pack nicely defined but not too body-builderish. His arms were thickly muscled but suited his athletic frame. Deep-blue swimming trunks hid the area he most wanted to see but he relied on the glimpses he’d had over the years and his overripe imagination.

Thick thighs and calves and, unbelievably, nice feet—he didn’t generally like feet—finished off the package of perfection and Terry was suddenly extremely glad he had a book in his lap, because his cock was beginning to swell and press against the inside of his swimming shorts. He realized that a dip in the pool would be a pretty good antidote—the chilly water should take the heat from his cock. And if not, at least no one would be able to see the bulge unless they swam underwater.

It was stupid, really, trying to hide his erection from Justin. They both knew there was something between them, and he wanted to bury his hard cock inside Justin’s mouth or arse, not hide it beneath a fucking book.
He began to wonder whether they should just get together, and to hell with the consequences. It wasn’t illegal.

Justin sat down on the sun bed next to Terry and flashed him a smile. “Am I forgiven, then? I haven’t got your book wet, have I?” He reached out to grab the book, presumably to try to dry it, but Terry slammed his hand down quickly, catching Justin’s fingers beneath his in the process, not to mention giving his cock a bit of a smack.

“No,” he ground out, wondering how he’d managed to get even a single word to fall from his lips. As soon as their fingers had touched he’d felt a spark that had run straight up his arm and multiplied throughout his entire body. His ebbing erection had immediately jumped back to attention, lifting the book slightly. He hoped against all hope that Justin hadn’t noticed but he had no such luck.

The blond’s gaze dropped to their still-touching fingers and, presumably, to the book and the thing beneath it that had caused the movement. He stared for a few seconds that felt like hours, then looked back up at Terry’s face. He opened his mouth then closed it again. For the first time ever, it seemed Justin was speechless.

A huge splash and a series of laughs from the pool broke the spell between them. Justin snatched his hand back and raked it through his hair. He opened and closed his mouth again, but for the second time nothing came out. He let out a heavy sigh and stood up looking dazed. He appeared to have trouble putting one foot in front of the other, as though he were drunk or had just woken from a very deep sleep. Of course, only the two of them knew the real reason for Justin’s behavior.

Finally Justin got his limbs to cooperate, and he made his way across to the table that held food and drinks, sheltered from the bright sunlight by a large, green gazebo.

Terry watched him go, a tumult of emotions running through his brain. Disappointment, confusion, anger, lust…they all assaulted him, though admittedly the last was screaming the loudest, a fact certainly not helped by Justin’s damp and topless state.

Now a feeling of despair took hold of him. What the fuck was he going to do?

Bonnie stifled a sigh. He was doing it again. Staring at her, as he had been every day that week. She was on a fortnight’s training course through work. She was the only one from her office who’d been sent. As a result, she knew no one and ended up sitting alone in the college’s cafeteria at lunchtimes. She’d had a couple of invites from kindly people also on her course, but she’d turned them down. It wasn’t that she was being rude or anti-social, she just hated people to see her eat. She was a big girl—that was putting it politely—and when people saw her eat, she could feel the judgment rolling off them in waves, the thoughts that she was fat because she ate so much.
It wasn’t true. About what she ate, that was. She was fat, and there was no denying it. But it certainly wasn’t her doing. She’d been born to large parents, and despite a healthy diet and plenty of exercise, she was still overweight. All she ever managed to shift was a pound or two here and there, and that was hardly noticeable, particularly on a woman her size. She kept at it, though, resigned to being a larger lady, but determined not to get any bigger.

Because she’d always been big, she was used to the snide comments, the dirty and derisive looks, the open stares. So it didn’t upset her any more, but she still got irritated when people simply gawped at her. Surely one glance was enough for them to ascertain that yes, she was a shapely girl, and then move on. In most cases it was, particularly if she glared at the person in question. But not with this guy. She was sure he was trying to be subtle, because he often averted his gaze as she trained hers on him. But even if he’d looked away, she could tell by the position of his head and body that he’d been peeking at her. Again.
Now, on day seven, she was almost at boiling point. What the hell was his problem? Had no one ever told him it was rude to stare? She was on the verge of doing just that.
Eating her lunch was an unpleasant task, knowing she was being observed. If she hadn’t been so damn hungry, she’d have left it. But she’d been running late that morning and had committed that mortal sin—missing breakfast. So her chicken salad—with no dressing—was absolutely necessary to avoid making herself feel ill, or passing out, so she devoured every last morsel. She ate faster than she normally would, not because she was being greedy, but because the sooner she finished eating, the sooner she’d stop feeling so damn self-conscious about the guy across the room watching her.
She decided to give him one last chance. When she’d finished her lunch, she’d drink her carton of apple juice, then sit for a few seconds, doing nothing. If he continued to look at her, she was going to stomp over there and give him what for. If he didn’t, then she’d carry on with life and do her best to forget about him and his rudeness.
Deep down, she knew she was going to have to go over and say something to him. After seven days, he wasn’t going to suddenly amend his habits. She was just being a bit of a wimp, really, hoping to find some way of getting out of confrontation, because she didn’t like it, not one bit, and it was absolutely a last resort. Unfortunately, she couldn’t think of a single other way of stopping him from doing it. Perhaps she could put up a sign in front of her saying “Please stop staring at me.” But if he couldn’t take the hint when she’d glared at him, he wouldn’t take any notice of a piece of paper.
Several minutes later, her salad was gone and she moved onto her drink. With a sinking feeling in her gut, she saw he was just as interested in her now as he had been when she’d been eating. Damn, confrontation it was then.
Draining the carton, she gathered her plate, cutlery and other rubbish onto her tray, stood up and slid it onto the rack nearest her. Then she returned to her table, grabbed her bag, pulled in a deep breath through her nostrils and marched over to the Peeping Tom. She slid out the chair opposite him and sat down on it.

Writer's Call Wednesday: LONG deadline

I have posted a lot of links here for antho calls and I was talking with one of my writer friends about a collection I thought she should submit to; and she said,

"Well, I'll see, but it's a pretty tight deadline."
I looked at the call again, counted days, and said "It's over a month away..."

"That's a tight deadline for ME." (Keeping in mind that she has 2 kids, a soon-to-be ex-husband, a boyfriend, two different editing jobs... and I start thinking she's right...)

So here's a deadline for January NEXT YEAR. Obviously, no one has to submit for it... but if you chose to do so, you've got plenty of time...

Due to the success of Smut in the City, Lucy Felthouse and Kevin Mitnik are pleased to announce that they’re putting together a spin-off anthology, with a Sapphic theme.

Smut in the City: Sapphic Edition will be a collection of lesbian erotica with an urban/city feel edited by Lucy Felthouse and Kevin Mitnik.

The Smut in the City: Sapphic Edition anthology will feature stories from a variety of genres, but they must have that overall “city” feel, either in location or style. Think sex in or around famous tourist attractions, on top of skyscrapers, on the underground or subway, in city centre fountains and so on. But be aware all of those examples have already been done in the original anthology, so be unique!
Read Smut by the Sea Volumes 1 and 2, Smut in the City and Smut Alfresco to get an idea of what we like. If you’d like some clarification before submitting your story then please contact us.

  • Genres: Any
  • Theme: Sapphic
  • Pairings: F/F (multiples accepted)

Writer Calls For Wednesday

I usually post Calls for Submissions to my Facebook page, but as I'm trying to increase my traffic around here, I'm going to start posting Calls that I find here on Wednesday.

Victoria Blisse is the lovely woman who brought us the Smutters Advent Calendar. And Lucy Felthouse organizes several of the writers and book tours that have been featured here, as well as being dynamic writers and all around awesome ladies.

This is an unpaid publication, the Coming Together series all focus on donations to a charity. The due date for submissions is February 28th.

Coming Together: With Curves is a collection of Rubenesque erotica & erotic romance edited by two of the genre's leading ladies, Victoria Blisse and Lucy Felthouse.

All proceeds from the sales of this anthology as well as any individual titles released in ebook or audiobook will benefit Parkinson's UK, an international charity.

EDITORS' CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

We want big beautiful women. Curvy chicks. Rubenesque ladies. Send us your erotica or erotic romance tales of plus sized females and the men (and women!) who love them.

We like it hot. We want characters that can't keep their hands off one another... or themselves. Solo sex, twosomes, threesomes and moresomes are all acceptable, as long as there's at least one Rubenesque lady involved.

Give us unique settings, intriguing storylines and above all, send us a story that will stand out from the crowd.

Stories can be set in any time period, and we also welcome paranormal tales, as long as the big beautiful woman is an integral part of the plot.

Make us laugh, make us cry (though not too much!), but most importantly, make us horny. Make us wildly jealous of the sexual adventures and experiences the plus sized chicks are having and you're along the right lines.

Keep your stories legal. We don't want any of the usual taboos; underage, bestiality, snuff, etc... if you're not sure, just ask.

Stories should be between 2,500 and 7,500 words. Exceptions will be made for outstanding stories. Previously published work is acceptable, but make sure that your right to submit the story for publication is clear. Please note that stories over 5000 words can be individually released as an ebook as well as appear in the anthology. All profits from single releases will also benefit Parkinson’s UK.

Please submit .DOC or .DOCX manuscripts to comingtogetherwithcurves@gmail.com (cc: submissions@the-erotic-cocktail.com) with "Submission for Coming Together: With Curves" in the subject line. Questions can be sent to the same address. Format should be Times New Roman 12pt font, 1 inch margins, double spaced and have the first line of each paragraph indented (not tabbed or spaced). Please title your document as follows: "Story Title_Author Name". Do not add anything to the header or footer of your document. Include a brief (150-ish word) biography in your email.

This is a charity anthology, there will be no payment to the authors or editors beyond a PDF contributor copy of the collection. Instead, all proceeds will benefit Parkinson's UK, a support and research charity. For more than 40 years they've been working to find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson's. Find out more about them here: http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/default.aspx

Submissions close on February 28th, with a tentative publication date of May 1st.
