"For anyone with any appreciation for erotic romance and/or any inkling of interest in or curiosity about steampunk, mechanical engineering, fantasy, or even historical settings, I recommend this collection without reservation and with utmost enthusiasm--and I hope with all sincerity that every reader enjoys it as much as I did." - review from Amazon customer, Emerald

"A beautifully detailed picture of gas lit London clubs, clockwork prostheses and werewolves. I loved the ‘Steamies’ that have a driver and need a second coachman to shovel coal and maintain the engine. The world is so well built and clearly visualized that I am sure there will be more stories set in it, perhaps more about Seth and Dex." -- Torquere review, Mara Ismine

I have read a lot of erotica and my raction to most of it is rather ho-hum. This collection of stories is fantastic. Each of these stories is easy to read. I couldn't help being pulled into the story line. As opposed to other stories I've read, I did not skim the part between the action. I was drawn into the story line. Which is another thing that sets these apart. They actually have a plot. Overall, these are a fantastic set of stories that are sure to entertain you and NOT just another sex story. -- Amazon Reviewer, JBP
This was an interesting little story that immediately grabbed my attention -- Amazon Reviewer, Hearts on Fire Reviews
Note: This is the sequel story to Shadows of Kenfig, contained in the above Shifting Steam, part two of the London Steam series. For whatever reason, that's not been made very clear in the marketing materials...
"Garden Variety" by Lynn Townsend was cute and kinky; her naughty use of vines added a titillating touch of taboo, without a foray into Lovecraftian creepiness. - Amazon Reviewer, Angelatarantula

I found this book beautiful, and I feel the authors in it outdid themselves, offering stories of a world with which some of us are wholly unfamiliar and possibly can hardly imagine and illuminating what is both unique to that and what is universal. The expression of this universality--namely, that of erotic and personal connection, and its capacity to arise under virtually any circumstances--is something I see as a hallmark of successful erotica writing. This volume, as I experienced it, is full of that, and I recommend _Duty and Desire_ without any of the reservations I thought I might have. -- Emerald, customer review

"Hungry for Love does an excellent job of portraying zombies in both lights. The stories range from the erotic actions of survivors to delving deep into the range of necrophiliac orgasm. Not for just anyone, this compilation depicts zombies as both the ultimate horror and ultimate love machine." -- Avid Reader, Amazon customer review
"The authors in this amazing collection of works take things to toe curling extremes that had me turning the pages and relishing each and every story." -- Ezrabet Bishop
"The giant squids are terrifying. The villains are terrifying. The existence of this book is terrifying. I know all of the authors, and you know what? Terrifying: Every last one of them. Now look at Amazon's product details for the book: "Text-to-Speech: Enabled." Do you realize what that means? You can inflict this book on innocent bystanders while you wait in line at the bank. How terrifying is that!" -- Dale Emery, purchase review.
